A Little About Me

 

Photography has been a passion of mine since the age of 8, when my parents bought me my first camera – a Polaroid I instantly fell in love with.  That Polaroid soon turned into my beloved Canon, and hours spent in my homemade darkroom, learning every aspect of the craft.

 

Over the past 30+ years my passion for photography has remained a treasured constant in my life.  I love capturing the instant beauty and simplicity of a single moment.  This is my meditation and my escape.  A way to step away from the everyday craziness, take a deep breath and enjoy the incredible world around us.

 

Ten years ago I handed in my film and darkroom supplies and embraced the digital age.  As a result, all of the photos on this site have been taken with either a point-and-shoot digital camera, or a smart phone.

 

So thank you for allowing me to share my passion with you.  And I hope that you are able to take away some of the peace and happiness that my hobby brings me.

Pet Photography

 

Pet photography has always been a special thing for me, as my pets could tell you!  I prefer shooting in natural and familiar settings, capturing the true personality and spirit of the pet.  They are such an important part of our lives and families, and I love being able to showcase this for pet parents.
